Varieties of coffee cups and mugs
Our coffee cups and mugs are available in different sizes in different color and
designs.
Coffee cups are typically made of glazed ceramic, and have a single handle,
allowing for portability while still hot. Ceramic construction allows to be
drunk while hot, providing insulation to the beverage, and quickly washed with
cold water without fear of breakage, compared to typical vessels made of glass. |
Coffea canephora (Robusta Coffee Coffea robusta) is a species of coffee which
has its origins in western Africa. It is
grown mostly in Africa and Brazil, where it is often called Conillon. Both the
Robusta and Arabica coffee plant can grow to heights of 10 meters if not pruned
but the countries where coffee is produced will maintain the plant at a
reasonable height which is suitable for harvesting.

Coffee cups
Some types of cups are quite exclusively used for drinking coffee, such as an
espresso demitasse or cappucino cups. Other types of cups used for coffee but
are also commonly used for other beverages as well including a teacup or mug.
Coffee cups have become popular over the past years as they are also used for
promotions and advertising slogans such as "Happy Birthday" or "I love you".
They can be used in the office as a statement of character with political
affiliation emblazoned on the side of the mug.
A coffee cup may also refer to disposable cups from which hot beverages
(including coffee) are drunk. Disposable coffee cups typically are made of paper
or styrofoam. Paper cups at fashionable coffee houses often come with a
cardboard sleeve to help retain heat and avoid double-cupping, which saves on
materials.

Coffee mugs
Many mugs are made of ceramic materials such as earthenware, bone china,
porcelain or stoneware. Some are made from strengthened glass, such as Pyrex.
Other materials, including plastic, steel and enameled metal are used where
break resistance is at a premium, such as for campers. Techniques such as silk
screen printing or decals can be used to apply decorations; these are fired onto
the mug to ensure permanence.
